I think you need to add a Queen of Hearts somewhere in there.
“Why don’t you pass the time by playing a little solitaire?”

Next the _The New Yorker_ will have a bumper sticker on its cover about how disappointed they are in Obama.

Oh, that’s good…. I didn’t know that photoshop skills were part of the job description for this blog, though.

My tags didn’t work, and you don’t even offer a preview function. Like I’m ever commenting here again.

Warning: here comes the joke-killer. If I’m not mistaken, critics, Eric included no black babies because McCain has no black babies. Everything in Eric’s cover, in other words, is true, making it the opposite of the Obama New Yorker cover, in which everything is a fiction, a right-wing fever dream. But of course I’m very, very tired, having been on the road for a bit too long, and thus am probably wrong.

Oh, Jesus, don’t forsake us because we don’t have a preview function. You’re supposed to be the very model of forgiveness.

Yeah, I like that one. It lacks Ari’s excerpt from Standpipe’s blog, though.
