Well, I get the blog thing. But the chicken thing is beyond me.
Or at least, I don’t see why people are actually laughing at it.

It’s not funny, though. I mean, okay, haha, powerpoint is stupid and you can fill it even with nonsense words and still adhere to the form. Now let’s move on.

No, no, it’s about powerpoint presentations, particularly in the sciences. And also about powerpoint. Seriously, it might be worth reading the text. But probably not. Okay, almost certainly not. Just forget the whole thing. Party pooper.

I think you probably need to have sat through a certain number of presentations in order to find it funny.

Bitchph, I don’t think you watch enough Monty Python.
Why this is hilarious has something to do with that sort of silliness.

Unamused people, it is funny on several levels.
#1-The Monty Python (Think #12, the Larch)
#2-People often read their PowerPoint presentations to their audiences.
#3-After a certain amount of time, PP presentations all look alike, and therefore the repetitive recitation of “chicken” makes fun of that happening.

One can’t explain jokes, Rachael. And even if one could, one certainly couldn’t explain them to b.
