On this day in 1945, the Potsdam conference ended. Harry Truman had already approved a statement to be issued when the first atomic bomb fell.
We’ll have a proper post related to this sometime next week. Basically, I wanted to try posting from my phone. Drawback no. 1: nearly impossible to do links.

Next, try to grill a grilled cheese sandwich with your phone. I predict equal success. Of course, theoretically, it should be possible.

Forget posting. Have you tried to read comments from your phone? While this layout is awesome on a real computer, it doesn’t work so well on a small screen.

If you followed grackle’s advice, you would have the rare treat of a regrilled cheese sandwich on your hands.

Yeah, Josh, I got rid of my Dare because it couldn’t really navigate this site. Oh, also because Eric kept making fun of me for not having an iPhone. He’s just so damn mean.

It doesn’t really work, but it kind of does.

Have you seen this? (I have no idea if it’s helpful.)

As I understand it we could have Prologue or our current theme, but not both. Which would ill serve the majority of our readers, who are not iPhone users. If I’m wrong, though, let me know.

Maybe we should buy all of our readers iPhones. It would only cost a few hundred bucks.

Less than $1 an iPhone? Is that some kind of economy-of-scale discount?

I merely state the facts. Have seen the number of people subscribed to your feed on google reader alone? Currently: 494.

Oh, then we can’t afford iPhones for all of them.

Some will already have some, what with market demographics being what they are….
But you know, the WordPress app *could* technically let you browse the web and then copy and paste, all within the app. Much work for them, though.

Oh, I can navigate the site just fine; the problem is that when reading comments, I can see either the comment *or* the name of the person who left it. Which is a little annoying.
Besides, if I ditched my current phone and bought an iPhone, I’d have to give up copy-and-paste.

You should buy your *commenters* iPhones. At least the loyal ones who were here from the very beginning.
