They stole from the library? Man, that’s horrible. I’m usually against the death penalty, but I’d consider an exception in cases like this.

It is bizarre. It’s as if the scheme were designed for maximum symbolic evil and minimum profit.
When I saw the headline, though, I thought it referred to the nefarious socialistic scheme by which the government interferes with book sales by making copies available to poor people for free — clearly in violation of the DMCA.

I love stories like the one on the chiropractic board. It is as if transparency and governance by law is important, even in boring cases!
I am against the death penalty myself, except for bike thieves. Hate bike thieves, way worse than car thieves, and I’ve had a bike and a car stolen.

I’m with you on bike thieves; they’re worse than rustlers and should be treated accordingly. That said, stealing from the library is some mustache-twisting, tying-to-the-railroad-tracks evil, cartoonish in its disregard for all that’s right and just in the world.

My best friend Chris came up with the idea for Halloween of one person in the couple dressed all Olde, with railroad tracks tied to him or her and the other person wearing the black suit with the mustacio and evil hat. That’d be super fun. I bet the traintrack person would get rescued a lot.

Library theft and chiropractor regulation. Now that’s the stuff of a good local newspaper.

The chiropractic board is an ongoing saga, because Our Governor takes an interest in its composition and oversight regulations.
