Not really a Wire spoiler — just a casting note — but I’ll put it below the fold in case you’re super-sensitive.
That guy who looked like Gordon from Sesame Street? was Gordon from Sesame Street. Which makes it all the funnier that his character was named “Oscar.”
You may remember that Gina the vet from Sesame Street was thin Tony’s girlfriend on The Sopranos.
I think we really missed out by not having Maria as a habitué of the Gem on Deadwood.
