If Mark Wahlberg had been seated in first class on that fateful day, there would have been no 9/11. Yes, seriously. I dare you to challenge his logic.

I suspect a picture of Mr. Wahlberg from those pre-Invincible days would do. It’s the time period of The Perfect Storm, that Ape thing, and Rock Star. A publicity photo from Rock Star and some pictures of the people who were actually in First Class on the three crashed flights should do it.

When asked in a followup question if he counted himself lucky to have cancelled his 2004 Christmas plans in Indonesia, a steely-eyed Wahlberg pledged, “If I’d been dare, wit my kids, dat wave woulda turned right da fuck aroun.”

It is tragic that this country provides no possible way for a man of Mr Wahlberg’s clear prowess to, say, volunteer, somehow, to fight.
Personally, I blame Jimmy Carter for this lack of opportunity, but I will accept that there are people of good faith who will blame either or both Clintons.
